Julie joined the faculty of AVI’s Viniyoga Therapist Training in 2016, and now serves as Curriculum Coordinator for VCAP, Viniyoga Clinical Applications Program. She holds a Master’s Degree in Adult and Continuing Education from Rutgers University and a massage therapy license. In the 1980’s, Julie’s long commute to her job as a corporate trainer resulted in back pain, so she looked up “yoga” in the yellow pages. Many years and a few teacher trainings later, she found AVI and has been at home ever since. Julie lives in Ridgefield, Connecticut where she maintains a Yoga Therapy practice, seeing clients over a wide range of conditions, as well as teaching a long-running chair yoga class.
