Darśanam: Renewing Your Inner Practice

Teacher: Gary Kraftsow

Dates: April 22-24, 2027

Where: Sivananda Ashram Yoga Retreat, Bahamas

Every spiritual tradition offers a way of seeing the world. These perspectives, or Darśanas (“ways of seeing”), shape how we understand ourselves, our relationships, and our place in the universe. Yet many of the assumptions that guide our lives remain unconscious, quietly influencing our thoughts, decisions, and spiritual practice. By bringing these inner lenses into awareness, we can move beyond their limitations and open ourselves to greater clarity, freedom, and insight.

In this illuminating program, you’ll explore the foundational philosophical traditions of Vedanta—including Dualism, Qualified Non-Dualism, and Non-Dualism—and discover how each offers a unique perspective on the nature of reality and the path of yoga. Rather than approaching these teachings as abstract philosophy, you’ll learn how they serve as practical frameworks for deepening self-inquiry, meditation, and daily life. As you examine these timeless teachings alongside your own worldview, you’ll gain a richer understanding of both.

Whether you are new to Vedic philosophy or have been practicing yoga for years, this program offers an opportunity to renew your inner practice from the inside out. By understanding the wisdom behind the teachings, you’ll move beyond concepts into direct experience—awakening a deeper relationship with yourself, your practice, and the Living Presence that underlies all traditions. Leave with renewed inspiration, expanded awareness, and practical insights to support your spiritual journey.

Offered as 4 satsangs and 2 workshop (subject to change).
