Part One: Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching & Yoga Therapy (VFP)

The AVI® Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapy (VFP) is the first component of the two-part Viniyoga Therapist Training program, but also functions as a 200-hr (Sessions 1 & 2), 300-hr (Sessions 1, 2, 3), or 500-hr (Sessions 1, 2, 3, 4) Viniyoga teacher certification, depending upon your educational goals. AVI respects what you already know about yoga and offers the opportunity to advance your studies of Viniyoga for personal development, teaching, or to complete the AVI® Viniyoga Therapist Training.
The Viniyoga Foundations Program for Teaching and Yoga Therapy is approved by Yoga Alliance at the 200, 300 and 500 hour level.

Part Two: Viniyoga Clinical Applications Program (VCAP)
NEXT PROGRAM BEGINS: 2025
The AVI® Viniyoga Clinical Applications Program (VCAP) is the second component of the Viniyoga Therapist Training Program and is open to students who have successfully completed the requirements of the first component: VFP or an earlier AVI Teacher Training program. Students who have completed a 500 hour yoga teacher training in the lineage of T.K.V. Deśikācar and T. Kriṣṇamācārya may be able to enter this training with some prerequisite work.
The Viniyoga Therapist Training Program prepares experienced Viniyoga teachers to work with individuals with structural, physiological and emotional conditions. Our program emphasizes the development of clinical skills in Viniyoga Therapy for work with individuals and groups and is accredited by IAYT.
